DESCRIPTION:Nuestro único criterio debe ser nuestro propio placer\, el placer que experimentamos a través del teatro. \nBertold BRECHT\, Escritos sobre teatro. \nEl teatro brechtiano es un teatro moral\, es decir\, un teatro que se pregunta con el espectador: ¿Qué hay que hacer en tal situación?… La moral de Brecht consiste esencialmente en una lectura correcta de la Historia\, y la plasticidad de esta moral (cambiar\, cuando haga falta\, la costumbre o la norma) procede de la misma plasticidad de la historia» \nRoland BARTHES \nEstem treballant sobre La boda dels petits burgesos de Bertold Brecht. \n“A Respectable Wedding” by Bertolt Brecht (this is the actual name of the play) talks about society’s moral duplicity. In the play\, the plot revolves around the premarital loss of the bride’s virginity. In the performance\, we look deeper. At not only the hypocritical morality and chastity\, but also at the degradation of traditions and the absurd deformation of what used to be a sacred part of human existence: weddings\, funerals\, the sense of the cosmogonic cycle and its celebration. \nOskaras Kornusovas \nEn un acte écrit en 1919\, Brecht s’amusait à dynamiter un repas de noce et ses neuf convives. Mais sa pièce est moins la satire sociale que le titre ­la Noce chez les petits-bourgeois­ semble indiquer qu’un traité de dévastation. Avec les meubles\, ce ne sont pas seulement les convenances qui craquent mais tous les sentiments. «Au fil de l’action\, note le metteur en scène Philippe Adrien\, tout se passe comme si Brecht découvrait avec nous le caractère inéluctable du ratage. Entre l’homme et la femme\, ça ne tient pas ensemble\, ça ne colle pas. Fatalement.» Si les petits-bourgeois de Brecht se contentaient d’être ridicules\, la farce ne tirerait en effet guère à conséquence. Si elle inquiète autant\, c’est que la médiocrité des personnages ne les empêche pas de souffrir\, et qu’à cette souffrance chacun peut s’identifier. \nRené Solis \n\n
